Without discipline, the gifts of the Holy Spirit have an overwhelming effect. Without discipline, the anointing of God in your life cannot be controlled. Discipline comes through the instruction of God. The Lord disciplines, instructs and teaches His people in order to manage what has been deposited in them.
It is imported to develop a skill to manage what has been entrusted to you. Entrusted to you when you were formed in your mother’s womb or entrusted to you through the laying of hands or even entrusted to you through the words spoken to you by destiny helpers in your life.
It is not the responsibility of your mentor or your pastor to manage the spiritual talents imparted on you. Whatever it is that was spoken in your life or prophesied in your life, it is your responsibility to partner with the Holy Spirit to water and nurture that seed until manifestation. Partner with the Holy Spirit to help you navigate your way to the destiny entrusted in your spiritual belly.
What has been entrusted to you lies dormant if you do not work on it. The partner you allow in your heart to help you get to where you are destined to be plays a very big role to where you are going. The Word of God says, “Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you – guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.” 2 Timothy 1:14
If your helper is not the Holy Spirit or if your helper is not someone sent to you by the Holy Spirit, then who is it that you’re partnering with? Who has sent them?
If you do not cultivate, manage or guard what has been entrusted to you, how will you get to the plans God has for you? He says that He knows the plans He has for you. “Plans to to prosper you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
You cultivate and guard by partnering with the Omnipotent God who gives us power (might, strength) to be calm while no one sees the plans you are seeing. While no one is believing in your plan, you will still have strength to move to the next level.
Remember that while you are cultivating the seed in you, He has given you a Helper and He has instructed you to call on Him, pray to Him and He has promised to listen to you. Jeremiah 29:12 As you genuinely seek Him, you will find Him and receive further instructions to the deposit entrusted to you.
The key to management is discipline. Once you lose discipline, the deposit in you overwhelms you and a door is opened for another kingdom to approach you to assist you and lead you astray with what your heavenly Father has entrusted to you.
May the Lord instruct you, discipline you and teach you so you can be calm when it is time to operate in what has been deposited in you. “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.” Deuteronomy 28:1
