The greatest of all is love. I have come to realise that when I walk with people and associate with them in different spheres of my life we impact each other differently but the most memorable relationships are those that had a foundation of genuine love. If there is no love, it seems as if there is no sinews and life in a relationship. It becomes a relationship purposed for a deal – no strings attached. The union just becomes a skeleton that has no life.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NLT
What is love? Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand it’s own way. It is not irritable, and keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
As you pursue your relationships, remember to add a flavour of love. You will see that union come to life like never before. Have hope and faith about where the relationship is leading but remember that love brings it to life.
1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT
Three things will last forever – faith, hope, and love – and the greatest of these is love.
